How to purchase from Japan Tackle?

We ship all around the world, everywhere angler lives.

Sorry, but we do not accept credit card orders from Indonesia, Thailand, Philippines, Malaysia, Caribbean countries, countries in Africa, Estonia, Latvia, and Serbia. For customers from these area, please send the payment through bank wire transfer. These areas are reported to be famous for fraud, and we may not accept credit card orders.

How to place orders

Please order products using the shopping cart system. We use eProcessing Network system, and it is safe and fast. The products with ADD to Cart button are stocked, and we will ship immediately.

The availability on our web is manually updated. If you are in a hurry, please email and make sure we have what you will order. "Ready in 1 week" means that products are stocked at manufacturers, and they will be ready to ship in a 1 week.

Payments

We accept major credit cards, Paypal, bank wire transfer, international postal money orders. All prices are in the US$.

Please use credit card through the online order system. The system is encrypted and secure. Please make sure you type in the CVV2, security code, 3-4 digits printed on back of your credit card. If you are concerned, please fax the credit card information and order details to +81-45-941-3019.

For the first time shopping with us, we require you to send a copy of credit card statement, indicating both your credit card number and your billing address. Please send it through FAX +81-45-941-3019, or by email question@japantackle.com.

We do not accept orders if any following,

Shipping address is totally different from billing address without good reason

Valid personal ID is requested, but not offered

Order is suspected to be fraud

For the first purchase, we might ask you to send your personal ID to check your address. Required ID is one of following. Passport, drivers license, citizenship card, and etc. We'd like to keep offering credit card payment option to all customers, and your co-operation is appreciated. Custom tax

All imports will be charged with custom tax, by laws, and please pay the tax when you receive the package. Tax rate varies country to country. However, in most countries custom office do not charges to all packages, and pick a few "Victims" to levy tax from hundreds of packages imported.

In the US, the tax rate is 5-6%, but the chance of taxation is about one out of 50-100 packages.

Canada, Australia, Italy custom office catches all packages passing the border for tax. Rate is Canada 10-30%, Australia 10-30%, Italy 30%.

For your reference, tax is calculated by the declared value, and the value is also used as insurance value for the package.
