How to use Avail Type A system

You may install the Type A brake to both right and left of spool. The Type A system work only on Avail finesse spool. If you still use centrifugal brake, please remove the brake holder from stock spool and install it to Avail finesse spools. In this case, the magnet should be attached to the opposite side of centrifugal brake.  For genuine spools or after market spool from other companies, please choose Type B. Brake force should be adjusted by the number of magnets installed. The system will hold up to 8 magnets, and 5 magnets are included at the purchase. (Photo is 1500C burgundy)

If you do not use centrifugal brake, please install the black ring to the short spool shaft as spacer.

How to use Avail Type B system

You may install the Type B brake to both right and left of spool. If you still use centrifugal brake, please install the Type B system to the opposite side of centrifugal brake. The Type B system works on stock spools, Avail finesse spools and B-Trap spools. Brake force should be adjusted by the number of magnets installed. The system will hold up to 12 magnets, and 4 magnets are included at the purchase. To remove the system from reel, please use two small screws. The system will float if they are screwed in.
