How to change bearings on spool
Here I explain how to change the bearing, installed on the spool.
You'll need quality pliers. The pliers on the photos is only for demonstration, and I use much larger one for myself.
1 See if you may change knobs of your reel
| 1. The pin is holding the bearing on the spool. | 2. Use pliers to push out the pin to one side. For this job, grooved surface pliers will damage the shaft. Please use flat surface part of the pliers. | 3. Please remove the pin when it is pushed to one side. Be careful, or you will damage the spool edge by pliers. |

For your reference, professional reel repairers are said to use special tools (maybe hammer, shaft holder and guide pin) to remove the pin.
