4x4SVS dial adjusting brake system and ultra light whiffle spool make the Scorpion 1000, 1001(lefty) totally souped-up hot reel. Scorpion casts light rigs superbly. The small great palming body ensure the comfort fishing for pitching and flipping anglers. The difference to most comparable Chronarch MG50 is that the body of Scorpion is made from Aluminum alloy, instead of Magnesium of MG50. The 4x4 brake system is only for Scorpion reels. |

Jun's comment: Strong BUY The best value for the money!! Quality and performance surpasses that of other $200 reels. Small reel great for light rigs and pitching/flipping. If you want a longer handle, please add big knob handle. Scorpion's handle is a little too short, and it is the only drawback I find in the reel. Check the available tuning parts Handle
