Ryobi Varius (around 1996-2000, 39500jpy, $395) is one of the top quality
round reel, with machine-cut aluminum frame and a lot of cold forged
aluminum components.
Both side plates are made from titanium plates. Varius had 2 brake models, F
and M. F has flying arm brake system, the first externally adjustable
centrifugal brake system in market. M has conventional magnet brake system.
Stock models are in silver and gun-metallic.

| This limited Spectra
color model was released on year 2000. The side plates were treated with PVD
(ion plating) to show rainbow hue. Each plate has different colors and
patterns. Spectra color was only for F, flying arm brake system, models.
