Owner Cultiva Stinger hooks, ST series saltwater fine triple hooks

Cultiva series hooks are the best game fishing hooks available today. Points are very sharp, hook wires are well heat treated to stand for extra load.

Please consider the balance between lines, rod power, and hook wire thickness. Thinner wire hooks have more penetration because of sharper points. Thicker hooks stand for larger thrust from fish, but requires more force to penetrate jaws. I give you recommendations for your reference, and please refer to them in choosing.

Please choose a little thinner hooks, if you experience a lot of hook offs. Your tackle might not have enough power to make the thick hook to penetrate jaws. I mainly use ST-36 and 46/47 size #1 and #1/0 hooks for Mahi growing up to 15kg here in Japan. Matched line is 30lb braided and 30lb mono leader. ST-36 may be a little too thin, but I have never lost a fish due to hook wire bent open. With the lighter hooks lures make better actions for sure. ST-56 looks sturdy, but it is too thick to penetrate for my tackle. The heavy hooks also damage actions of lures.
