This fluoro carbon shock leader has great abrasion resistance, which protect itself from the contact to rocks, teeth, fins, and boat bottoms. It also has high impact resistance. The low stretch leader tells you how jigs are moving under water. The fluoro carbon material vanishes in water, and doesn't make fish nervous. This leader is recommended for off shore jigging. Jun's comment: I love the fluoro carbon leaders for jigging, where low stretch is very important. I may manipulate jig as my wish with the combination of PE braided line and fluoro carbon leader. Limpy fluoro carbon leader often cause guide wrapping problems in casting, and it is not much recommended. For the purpose, please choose a nylon leader.
