Daiwa Certate Japan model  (2004-2009 model)

Totally new line of spinning reel from Daiwa, under Real Four design concept. Inside the flat metal body, the most durable, and precise mechanical components are ready to move.

Gears are all new digitally designed, and achieves super smooth retrieve. Drag performs smoothest and most powerful among all spinning reels. The cam oscillation system is employed for reliability, and ball bearings assist smooth spool movement. The most durable, reliable spinning reel among 1000-4000 sized spinning reels.: Dark metallic blue.

2500 R-Custom: the mule of gear box of 3000 and rotor of 2500. The R-custom also receives machine-cut handle. The combination offers the more gear efficiency and components durability to 2500 reel, making it the most powerful 2500 reel in market.

3500HD Custom: Heavy Duty model of 3500: Machine cut handle, large power knob, tuned spool for braided lines. The spool has steeper reverse tapered shape to prevent line troubles.

1500 and 2000 has "I" shaped knob. You may switch knobs. Daiwa offers a lot of tuning components for the Certate reels. RCS tuning parts fit. Spools, Handles
