TD-X Air Metal reels are almost identical to its brother TD-Z. Equipped with 6/1 BB/Roller bearings, TD-X series perform quite excellent. Its body frame are made of the same material, Air Metal, as TD-Z, and right-handed reel weighs at 6.7oz, left-handed weighs at 7.6oz. The weight difference to US version TD-X103HSDF is more than 2 oz. Also differences can be seen at, drilled spool, forged handle, forged drag knob, gold plated casting control cap, frame, and etc. Greatest investment for the money.
103H: high geared model versatile for wide range of usages. If you first pick one among these, 103H is the reel to start with.
105H: with shallow spool it casts best for lighter rigs, around 1/4-3/8oz with 6-10lb test lines. Great for jerk baits.
103P: low geared model great for cranking.
103HL: the only lefty reel in TD-X line. The pitching-flipping grip design well serves for your such usages.
