Jun's comment: This Certate hi gear models are what I have been waiting for since the debut of Certate in 2004. I love the solid construction of Certate, but wanted faster gears. I will use a Certate 3012H for offshore light casting for mahe mahe and skip jacks, as well as for light tackle deep jigging. I will spool #2-33lb YGK WX8 braided line to this reel. I have used Shimano '02 Twinpower 5000HG for the purpose, but it was hard for technical twitching because of large inertia in the rotor of TwinPower. Certate has much less inertia in rotor, and is more suitable for technical tactics. 3012H will work great for barra and red fish as well.
